Edna Modisette Davis was born on September 19, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio. Edna grew up flying, her father was a pilot. She entered the WASP class of 43-5, was sent to Dodge City, Kansas to fly the B-26 and spent a year towing targets at a gunnery training school.
Edna married John Davis a B-24 and B-29 pilot. After deactivation, John and Edna married and had two sons. She spent more than 20 years in the travel industry and conducted tours all over the world. To this date she has visited 182 countries. They are completing the development of the B-26 Marauder Archive at the Pima Air and Space museum in Tucson, Arizona. It is a huge project containing only B-26 papers, photos, and documents of WWII wartime materials that pertain to B-26 people.
